    How are carbohydrate units measured?

    How are dosage units measured?

Dosage units are determined by the type of insulin pen you are using for insulin injection. Half units refer to needles that use half units (ex: 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, etc). Whole units refer to needles that use whole units only (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc).
